ICD-10 PCS Workshop

An in-depth workshop devoted to Advanced Level ICD-10-PCS coding, beginning with a refresher of the ICD-10-PCS code structure and format, along with root operation definitions. The class will review some 2018 Official Coding Guidelines and any significant 2019 changes.
A minimum of four hours will be dedicated to hands-on practice assigning of ICD-10-PCS codes on advanced level coding exercises.
You will practice assigning procedure codes for a variety of procedures from operative reports, using your 2018 PCS code books. Instructor will review and discuss components of procedure codes with emphasis on unique ICD-10-PCS code descriptions.
*Each attendee responsible for bringing their own current ICD-10-PCS code book.
